Project description

Infrastructural development to a virgin land covering 2.99 hectares. The development included the construction of a new steel framed supermarket with a floor area covering 460m2. A super maize mill steel framed warehouse covering 960m2 area with a 150m3 volume silo maize meal storage. The mill was equipped with machinery to produce 1.5 tonnes of mealie meal per hour.

A chicken abattoir warehouse to slaughtering 1 000 No. chickens a day. A 0.35km, of bituminous surfaced access roads with surfaced parking area, water reticulation including a reservoir and sewer reticulation with a septic tank

ZMCK responsibilities

Services provided include a geotechnical investigation, structural design of the warehouses and supermarket, detailed design of access roads and parking bay, water and sewerage reticulation systems, project management and construction supervision.
