Project description

The Mantjolo Community Water Scheme is located in Mantjolo an area north east of Mbabane. There are 140 households and one school within the village. The project involves the design of a reticulation system including treatment works for water drawn from a stream using a raw water pump lifting water at 2.2c/s. The total length of pipeline is 29.3km including the reinforced concrete reservoirs, 14 polyethylene UV stabilised break pressure tanks and 140 house tanks.

ZMCK responsibilities

Services include the design of the treatment works and the entire networks, locating the reservoirs, investigation of water source, contract documentation and construction supervision.
