Project description
Route location, Feasibility Study and Preliminary Design of two lane road to a 4 lane highway including interchanges, service roads, new jersey type concrete median barrier, raised paved sidewalks in urban areas with associated stormwater system, street lighting and traffic lights (where necessary).
The pavement on the main carriageway consists of 40mm asphalt surfacing, 150mm crushed stone base, 150mm stabilized gravel upper subbase, 150mm stabilized gravel lower subbase, 150mm upper selected subgrade, 150mm lower selected subgrade.
ZMCK responsibilities
The services provided include topographical survey, traffic survey and analysis, soils and materials investigation, environmental assessment, economic analysis, cost estimation and compilation of feasibility study report. Additional services include preliminary designs for roads, interchanges and stormwater, tender documentation and cost estimation
