Project description

Construction of 12.8 km length of Service Road around the Sikhuphe International Airport runway. The scope of works included roadbed preparation, construction of selected subgrade, subbase and base layers and laying of a 30mm asphalt surfacing. Also included was the construction of subsoil drains, 6 major culverts and the installation of pipe culverts.
